THE MOBILE TOOL FOR THE EXPLOSION PROTECTION REGULATIONS IN DANGER ZONES
Engineers, service technicians and surveyors are only three simple clicks away from calculating and examining the maximum cable length between a supply device and a measuring instrument installed in a danger zone.
The utilized supply device and measuring instrument are chosen from the integrated product catalogue of Endress+Hauser. The ExiCalculator immediately displays the value for the maximum permissible cable length within a circuit. Also, the compatibility between the supply device and the measuring instrument is checked and produces an alarm on conflict. Own devices can also be integrated into the product catalogue.
Subsequent to the calculation, a document can be generated which summarizes all safety-relevant information about the circuit and also serves as the basis of a certificate. Furthermore, the document confirms the conformity of the circuit with the DIN 60079-14 standard and functions as proof of safety for the TÜV. After creation, the document can be saved, printed or dispatched.
